Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERTRUDE MOSSLACHER On Sunday, February 27, 2000, surrounded by her family, our beloved mother, Oma and great-grandmother entered her Heavenly Home. Mom was born in Carinthia, Austria, on March 19, 1913 and came to Canada with her husband and two children in 1950. Mom enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering, cooking and baking. She was a lady of strong character, totally committed to her family. She cared deeply for us and was always there when needed. Mom faithfully attended St. Josephs Church for the last 50 years. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and visiting with friends up until two years ago, upon the death of her son Leo. Shortly thereafter, she developed Aphasia and had trouble communicating, thereby making her life very difficult. Mom was a member of the C.W.L. and the Golden Age Club at St. Josephs. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Gertrude (Claude) Tetrault; daughter-in-law Barbara Kofler; six grandchildren, Danita (Adrian), Dion, Mardina (David), Marika (Donald), Michael and Kevin. Also many nieces and nephews. In the last six years, Oma has been blessed with ten great-grandchildren. My mother was the last of her generation. She was predeceased by her parents, Johann and Elisabeth Weidacher, her first husband Stefan Kofler, her second husband Mathias Mosslacher, as well as three brothers and six sisters, one of whom was her twin sister Josefine. Moms most recent heartbreak was the loss of her beloved son Leo in 1998. Prayers will be said on Wednesday evening March 1 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. at St Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Mountain and Andrews Street, with Rev. Fr. Diosdado Parrenas officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Carrying my mother to her final resting place will be Dion, Michael, Kevin, Donald, David and Gerhart. Special thanks to Pat and Ada from Home Care. Love you Forever "Servus" Mutter Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
