LOUIS WALTER ARKINSON On Monday, February 28, 2000 at the Pine Falls Hospital, Pine Falls, Manitoba, Louis Arkinson peacefully passed away at the age of 55 years. He leaves to cherish his memory a son Barry Canard; sisters, Mary Arkinson (Wally Sinclair), Grace Starr (Stanley), Eva Arkinson (Bob), Linda Arkinson; a special niece Darlene Arkinson who cared for Louis as well as nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Louis was predeceased by his parents, Stewart and Ida Arkinson and by his sisters, Irene, Agnes Pearl; brothers, William, Joey and six siblings in infancy. The family would like to thank Patti-Jo, Lauren, Louise, Tammy, Donna, Jean and Maggie and to Dr. Van Zyl for the care and kindness shown to Louis during his stay in the Pine Falls Hospital, it will not be forgotten. Wake services will be held at the family residence House #43 South Shore, Ft. Alexander, Manitoba beginning Monday, February 28. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. from the Christ Church Anglican, Ft. Alexander, Man. with Rev. Andrew Sinclair and Rev. Nancy Bruyere officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Society of Manitoba.
