GARRY M. JONES It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Garry M. Jones on February 29, 2000 with his family at his side. Garry was loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Marilyn (Turner) sons, David (Kim), Dane (Rhonda) grandchildren, Kayla and Bryce; brother Dwight; sister Patricia; and loyal friend "Jemadar" (family pet). Garry lived a very full and happy life right to his sudden end. As a young man Garry excelled in football, track and field and hockey, representing Transcona and Manitoba on many occasions. He loved building and flying his own aircraft. He also took great joy in their frequent trips to Mexico and Cottage Country. In accordance with Garrys wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in his honour at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society if family and friends wish to do so.
