GREGORY WINTERS
Date of Passing: Feb 27, 2000
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGREGORY WINTERS It is with profound sadness and the deepest regret that we announce the tragic passing of Gregory David Winters on February 27, 2000 at the age of 32 years. Greg will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Ed and Judy; his brothers and sisters, Ed (Linda), James (Pam), Suzanne and Linda; his nieces and nephews, Sara, Grace and Nick and by numerous other family and friends. Greg was diagnosed with diabetes at an early age and struggled mightily with this disease throughout his short life. He never gave up hope that a cure would be found and that he would be free but unfortunately that was not to be. Greg loved his best friend, his dog, and was never more happy than when he and Belsen were together fishing or travelling. Greg was a strong individual and an extremely caring person who enjoyed the great outdoors in all seasons. He could always be counted on for a joke or a laugh and he had a special place in his heart for Peanuty. A private service will be held for immediate family and we would ask Gregs friends and acquaintances to please make a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Gregs name so that we may one day see the end of this terrible disease.

It's been 16 years without you now, hard to believe so much time has passed. To have one more day with you to drink, fish and laugh would not be enough my brother. To wake up and see a Rainy Morning Sky today was a perfect start to the day. Til we meet again my brother - Posted by: James Winters (Brother) on: Feb 27, 2016
