Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE MARY NORDQUIST Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 29, 2000, Katherine Nordquist passed away in the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 78 years. Kay will be missed greatly by her beloved husband Jack and by Michelle, her puppy. She is survived by one brother Norman Cleveland (Madeline) sister-in-law Myrtle Neudorf (Jake) and by her special friends, Bonnie and Ted Harvey, Susan and Brian Mann, Pat Campbell and Terry Barber and Ed and Vickey Campbell. Kay was a kind, cheerful and vivacious woman who loved to travel. She had a tremendous love for life, teaching music and her family and friends. The sound of her laughter and giggles will be missed along with the tremendous love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Kay experienced great joy in her work over the years. She worked for both the British and Dutch embassies in Washington, D.C., the CNR and Dominion Rubber, and especially enjoyed her work in teaching the organ at Hammond Organ Studies and eventually retiring from J. J. H. McLean. Kay attended St. Lukes Anglican Church and was a member of the choir and the Winchester Guild. Cremation has taken place and there will be a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3 in St. Lukes Anglican Parish, 130 Nassau St. North, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Graham and the Rev. Canon Genevieve Murdoch officiating. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff of the 5th Floor and ICU at the Victoria Hospital for going above and beyond the call of duty and for their professional, compassionate and caring manner.
