MARGARET ESTELLE BROUGHTON (nee ROBINSON) Suddenly with great sadness on February 28, 2000 Margaret, beloved wife, mother and grandmother peacefully passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital with her family at her side. Margaret was born July 28, 1943 in Winnipeg to Olwen and George Robinson. Margaret was predeceased by her parents. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband and friend Richard; daughter Kristin (Sean) son Brent (friend Kristyn) granddaughter Drew; cousin Pat in Winnipeg; others currently residing in California; and her dog Sasha. Margaret devoted much of her time to her family, grandchild and friends. She also enjoyed crafts and gardening. After many years of bringing up her family, she took great pleasure in recapturing her love of hairdressing. She will be sadly missed by many. Special thanks to the doctors and SICU nurse Daphne at St. Boniface Hospital, and Jason at Concordia Hospital Emergency for all efforts and kindness. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Voyage Funeral Home on Friday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
