ANN BYLYNA Peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2000 at Holy Family Nursing Home, our mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1974. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Maurice and wife Marjorie and Orest and wife Jean; grandchildren, Debbie (Paul), Laurie, Ron, Sherrisse (Marc), Cyndi; and great-grandson little Pierre. Mom was born on November 12, 1913 at Sarto, MB. She married John in 1932 and farmed at Dufrost, MB. until 1964 at which time they retired and moved to Winnipeg and resided on McAdam Avenue. In late 1995 Mom was moved to Holy Family Nursing Home and lived there until her demise. Prayers will be said on Sunday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St. Funeral Rite will be held on Monday, March 6 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, 1175 Main St., with the Very Rev. Henry Lakusta officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. We will forever be grateful to all the staff at 4A St. Josephs Ward, Holy Family Nursing Home for their kindness and loving care.
