EWALD STEBNER Peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2000 Ewald Stebner passed away at the age of 74. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Jutta and his three sons, Frank; John and his wife Bev, grandchildren, Jordan and Erin; Udo and his wife Laurie, grandchildren, Lysha and Adelle. He will be also sadly missed by his extended family, Olga Frank of Winnipeg, Helga and David Gottke, Alma and Alvin Mundt, Arnold and Erna Obermann, all from Germany; sister-in-law Inge and Emil Heim; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Ewald worked for C.N. Railway until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed traveling and working in his garden. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., reception following the service. Ash interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
