JOHN A. REMPEL On March 3, 2000, at Concordia Hospital, John A. Rempel of Bethania Haus of Winnipeg, died at the age of 91 years. He is survived by one daughter Helen (John) Meredith of Saskatoon; one son Victor (Huguette) of St. Andrews; five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Susanna in 1991. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, at 1:00 p.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay at DeFehr in North Kildonan with interment in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Viewing on Monday, March 6, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., and at the church prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, available at the service. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel; 338-0331.
