MINNIE ISABELLE ANDERSON April 6, 1905 - March 2, 2000 Peacefully, on March 2, 2000 Minnie passed away at the Pine Falls Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1966; daughters, Irma and Bernice; son Franklin; sister Winnie; son-in-law Bert Trainor and daughter-in-law Alma. Mom will be sadly missed by her children, Mervyn (Erma) of Prince Albert, SK, Ross (Carollyne) of Surrey, BC, Edwin (Margaret) of Winnipeg, Helen Trainor, Lorne (Joy) and Calvin, all of Victoria Beach, Donna (Guy) Vergnano of Winnipeg, Bruce (Lynn) of Victoria Beach; son-in-law John Ateah; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marge and Harry Newman. She also leaves to cherish her memory, 31 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mom enjoyed making quilts which she continued to do up until her 90th year. Her quilts, made with love, have warmed her family and friends for years. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Michaels Church, Victoria Beach with Rev. Fraser Hunter officiating. A viewing will take place one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Victoria Beach Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Pine Falls Hospital, Dr. Niemand, Pine Falls Ambulance Personnel, Dr. Campbell of Beausejour and the Homecare workers for their care and support. Also a special thanks to Lauren and Tracey for their dedicated care of their grandmother while she was in the hospital. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Minnie may be made to the Alex Anderson Memorial Sports Club and Legion Hall or the St. Michaels Church of Victoria Beach.
