SYDNEY CHARLES BEACHAM 1921 - 2000 Peacefully, surrounded by his family, Syd passed away at home in Parksville, B.C. on February 19, 2000. Syd was born June 12, 1921 in Winnipeg and lived there until 1987 when he and Joan moved to Parksville to enjoy their golden years. Syd was employed at the Shell Refinery in St. Boniface until he retired in 1983. Syd will be lovingly remembered by his children, Dennis, Doreen (Mark) in Winnipeg and Terry (Ruth) in Nanaimo; grandchildren, Chris and Alex Beacham and Taylor Jones; sisters, Lucy, Rose and Maude in Winnipeg; brother Harry in Hamilton and their families, numerous friends and relatives from Winnipeg, Parksville and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Syd was predeceased by first wife Claire in 1978 and second wife Joan in 1998. Cremation has taken place. At Syds request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Syds memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
