THOMASINA (ZENA) SCOTT DEYMAN Peacefully on February 26, 2000, Thomasina (Zena) Scott Deyman, beloved wife of the late Irwin H. (Hank) Deyman, passed away at the age of 86. Mom was born in Motherwell, Scotland and has resided in Winnipeg since 1959. Predeceased by her husband Mr. I. H. Deyman (Lt-Col) of Winnipeg and five sisters, Agnes Gorrie, Jean McIntyre, Williamina Elliot, Margaret ODonnell and Polly Goold. Mrs. Deyman is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Brooks and son-in law Gary Brooks, Ms. Kathy Deyman and son-in-law Mr. Wade Osipa, all of Winnipeg and a son Mr. Rob Deyman and daughter-in-law Ms. Sybil Frenette of Kitchener, Ontario and three grandchildren, Lauren Brooks, Andrew Osipa and Michael Deyman. Much loved by her family, Mom will be fondly remembered amongst other things for kissing the hurts all better, showing grandkids how to do fish faces, providing care, comfort and dignity to Dad during his illness, teaching her son how to catch a baseball, making the best pie crusts in the world and instilling in her children a firm sense of fairness and compassion for others. Zena or Eenie Moe will be missed by her family and relatives in Oshawa. You will be sorely missed, but we know youre in a better, happier place. Our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful caring staff at Tuxedo Villa. A special thanks to the nurses and staff on Station 2 and 3 for the loving care of our Mom and the compassion shown to the family. Cremation has taken place at Zenas request. No memorial service will be held. A graveside service with family will occur at a later date.
