ALICE CAMPBELL (nee SKOGAN) Mom passed away peacefully March 4, 2000 at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, Manitoba. Mom was born in 1910 to Andrew and Karin Skogan and grew up in Inwood. She was predeceased by her husband Stuart in 1976. She leaves to mourn her passing, a daughter Eileen (Gordon) of Fonthill, Ont.; two sons, Ralph (Eileen) and Merv (Lyle) both of Teulon; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one brother Herb Skogan (Helen) of Teulon; two sisters, Olga MacRae and Doris Bond both of Teulon and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice married Stuart Campbell in 1933 and they farmed in the Teulon area until they retired to Teulon in 1968. Mom was an active member of the Teulon Curling Club, the Agricultural Society, The Senior Hospital Auxiliary and the Womens Institute. She was caretaker of the Teulon United Church for many years and was a faithful member of that church. She was also an honorary life member of the Senior Citizens Club. Goodwin Lodge has been her home for a number of years and the family thank the staff for their care and compassion. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Teulon United Church, Rev. K. Anstie will officiate. Interment to follow in the Dundas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goodwin Lodge, The Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
