Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryChange In Time of Service KATHERINE JASNIKOWSKI (nee Twardowski) It is with sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother on Saturday, March 4, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Katherine was born on March 10, 1914 in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Mateusz on May 17, 1994. Katherine leaves to mourn her passing sons, Mike (Zosia), Joe (Francis), John (Angela) grandchildren, Andy (Kim), Jeff (Paula), Magosia (Andy), Asia (Greg) great-grandchildren, Michelle, Kevin, Conrad, Logan and Cassandra; brother Joseph Twardowski; numerous relatives in Poland and Winnipeg and many friends especially her dear friend Wanda Motyka. Kays family will always remember her as a caring, unselfish and devoted Mother. The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre emergency and H6 for their kindness and compassion. Special thanks to the VONs (Diana) who looked after Mom so well. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, March 7 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. "Rest Mom, sleep Grandma. In time our broken hearts will mend, Our tears will dry But our love for you will never die, And our memories will never end."
