JAMES BELL After a lengthy illness, on Sunday, March 5, 2000 at the Ste. Anne Hospital, James Bell "went home" at the age of 76. Jim will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 46 years, Norma; his three children, Gary, Lauren (Paul) Godin, Shelley (Gabby) Desrosiers; grandchildren, Jamie Bell, Kyle, Jeffrey and Kara Godin, Kevin, Chad and Tyler Desrosiers. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother, Alex (Millie) sisters, Betty French, Jean Brown, Margaret (James) Metcalfe, Eileen (Arnold) Ulrich; sister-in-law Cora Bell and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Margaret; brothers, Andy and George and sister Elsie Scrutton. Funeral service will take place at the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church on Wednesday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Charlotte Kalthoff officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated Doctors and Nurses of Ste. Anne Hospital for all their compassion and care. A special thank you to Dr. Duval for looking after Dad through his years of illness with emphysema.
