LUDWIK KOLTOWSKI Peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2000, Ludwik Koltowski, passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 64. Ludwik was born on July 24, 1935 in Poland and came to Canada in 1959. He was employed at C.P. Rail until his retirement in 1987. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Teresa; daughter Irene, her husband David, grandchildren, Samantha, Jennifer, and Michael; son Richard, his wife Cathy and granddaughter Nicole; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Halina Podkanski, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ludwik was predeceased by both his parents. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, March 8 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. A thank you goes to Selkirk Ambulance Service and to the wonderful staff of nurses and doctors in the Intensive Care Unit, Seven Oaks Hospital, for making his last days as comfortable as possible.
