Audrey was born April 23, 1913 in Edmonds, BC (Burnaby), eldest daughter of Kirby and Margaret (Maggie) Seabrook. At nine months of age she moved with her family to a farm at Napinka, MB. Hard times, drought and depression of the 30s prevented her from continuing her education and fulfilling her dream of becoming a teacher. They were married December 3, 1938, for 54 and one half years and made their home in the Oakville district. Audrey was blessed with an incredible memory, having the ability to recall names, dates, stories or events, to the very end. Her most prized possession was her family. She took great pride in her crocheting, quilting and knitting of sweaters, mittens, socks, etc. until she became legally blind. Audrey was a member of Oakville U.C.W. and received her Lifetime Membership and pin.
