MAURICE JOSEPH PANTEL Peacefully at the Notre-Dame Hospital on Thursday March 9, 2000, Mr. Maurice Pantel of Treherne, Manitoba passed away at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Henriette (nee Tichit) five children, Lorraine Woloshyn of Winnipeg, Jeannette Homeniuk of Winnipeg, Solange Pantel of London, Ontario, Bertrand Pantel of Treherne and Jacqueline Pantel of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, Perry, Brenda (Larry), Gary (Sandy) and Darryl; two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Steven. He also leaves to mourn three brothers, Henri and wife Odile, Georges and wife Frances, Auguste and wife Yvonne; two sisters, Marie-Ange Pantel and Sr Georgette Pantel; three sisters-in-law, Jeanne, Julia and Agnes, and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by one son-in-law Edward Homeniuk; four brothers, Germain, Florent, Victor, Emilien and Charles. Prayers will be held at Adams Funeral Home on Friday March 10, at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre-Dame Roman Catholic Church on Saturday March 11, at 4 p.m. with Father Roland Lanoie officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, 117-383 Provencher, St. Boniface, MB.
