JAMES KOLOTYLO It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James Kolotylo, friend, father and grandfather (or as he preferred Gigi). Battling health problems related to a heart condition and diabetes, James passed away in his sleep at St. Boniface Hospital. Leaving us peacefully on March 11, 2000, with his family close by, James was 72 years old. Born in Rivers, Man. on April 16, 1928, he grew up with six brother and sisters. He is survived by sister Dorothy and husband Joe, brother Frank and wife Dorothy. He was predeceased by siblings Joe, Donald, Nettie and Rose. In 1980 he was also predeceased by his beloved wife of 29 years, Edwina (Eddy). James worked 41 years with Salisbury House. After retiring he enjoyed life with his family. Left to cherish the memories are daughter Kathy and husband Ves with grandchildren Brian and Tabitha; daughter Debbie; son Bruce and wife Sharon with grandchildren Megan, Scott and Cooper. Jimmy touched many hearts making many friends with his friendliness, kindness, warm smile, sense of humour, quick wit, but mostly his infectious laugh. It was important to James that friends and family know how each person brought joy into his heart and was special to him. For those wanting to bid a fond farewell to Jimmy, funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15 in the chapel at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A graveside service will take place in Transcona Cemetery, with a time of fellowship and refreshment in the reception centre at Glen Lawn Funeral Home to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Society or to the charity of ones choice. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550
