ALICE FOURNIER (nee BALCAEN) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Alice Fournier, on Sunday, March 12, 2000 at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, Man., at the age of 94 years. Mrs. Fournier leaves to mourn her passing 11 children, Denise (Leo Boisjoli), Narcisse, Clemence (Andre Dufault), Eveline, Alphonse, Bernard (Marge), Rose-Aimee (Vincent Morier), Florence (Clement Michaud), Gilbert (Anita), Liliane (Lucien Tremblay) and Oscar (Fran) one sister Irma Gauthier; 41 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husband Narcisse and two children, Henriette and Etienne. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Fournier touched many lives with her sense of humour, and her love of singing and music. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Villa Youville for the excellent care given to our Mom. Mass of Resurrection will be held at the La Broquerie Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing and prayers at 1:30 p.m., with Fr. Louis Vielfaure officiating. Interment will follow in La Broquerie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
