EMILY SHEWAGA (nee MYKETA) Peacefully, on March 12, 2000, Emily Shewaga passed away in her 83rd year while residing at the Charleswood Care Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Alex on March 12, 1973 and over the years eleven siblings and her grandson Ian LeRoss in December, 1991. She is survived by her four children, Joseph, Peter (Heida), Jean (Ray) Demery, and Margie (John) LeRoss of Comox, B.C. She also had five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. We wish to sincerely thank all the staff at the Charleswood Care Home for their loving and compassionate care of our mother. At Mothers request, there will be no formal service.
