Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY WATT It is with sorrow the family announces the passing of Mary Watt on March 10, 2000 at Donwood Manor. Mary was predeceased by her father, John, in 1933, her mother, Mary, in 1961 and by her only brother, Richard (Dick) Watt in 1984. Mary is survived by her sister, Christina Watt; her niece, Susan Watt, nephew, Jack (John) Watt and sister-in-law, Jean Watt. Mary was born June 26, 1910 in the Fort Rouge District. The family later moved to Elmwood. Mary attended the Anna Gibson School, Lord Selkirk School and St. Johns High School. She was employed by Weston Johnston Sales, The International Biscuit Company and Paulin Chambers in Vancouver, and was then transferred to Paulin Chambers in Winnipeg, retiring in 1970. She and good friend, Linda Jones, upon retirement, travelled extensively through the world. Mary was a member of Gordon-King Memorial Church and also a member of the Jephthah Order of the Eastern Star. There will be no service and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers and, if desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the care given to Mary while she resided in Deer Lodge Centre and also in Donwood Manor.
