ROLAND ROBERT PILON It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father at the early age of 55. Roland was predeceased by his father Wilfred in 1989 and by his mother, Irene in 1996. Roland will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Margaret and their children, Wayne (Rachel), Shawn (Shannon), and Ken (special friend Kristi). He also leaves to mourn his brothers, John (Monique), Jerry, Paul (special friend Bonnie), and Peter, sisters, Priscilla (Neil) and Patsy (Paul). He will also be remembered by extended family, many friends, and co-workers. At the time of his passing, Roland had been employed at MacDon Industries for the past 20 years. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching curling and especially N.F.L. football. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends and always looked forward to the annual family picnic and playing lawn darts. Roland was always there to lend a helping hand. He left with the knowledge that his son Shawn (Bones) and wife Shannon will realize his greatest wish of being a grandfather as they are expecting for the month of October. Prayer service for Roland will be held at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St., on Wednesday, March 15 at 9:30 a.m. Fr. James Gray will celebrate the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. Active pallbearers will be Rolands brothers-in-law, Denis VanDale, David VanDale, Don VanDale, Ron VanDale, Barry Tanghe, and Neil Hogue. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Bouvier, Zachary Tanghe, and Jimmy Ward. "You will be forever missed, "ROLL-DADDY." LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements; 775-2220.
