Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHERMAN CURRIE STRUTT After a lengthy illness, Sherman Currie Strutt passed away on March 10, 2000 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife Alice; daughter Elaine (Bill) son Ron (Carolyn) three grandchildren, Sean, Megan and Andrew; one brother Robert (Olga) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, Beryl, Hazel and Jean, and two brothers, Glen and Milt. Sherman was born on March 15, 1911 in Carman, Manitoba and spent his entire working life in the grain business. He loved fishing, baseball games and playing baseball. At the age of 80 he had still been playing baseball with the "Old Timers". Even though he had difficulty expressing his feelings, he loved his family and in particular his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wellington Crescent and Academy Road, Winnipeg on Thursday, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held later at Green Acres. The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their kindness and excellent care and Dr. Lezak, whom Sherman was very fond of. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Riverview Health Centre. " May You Rest In Peace "
