IDA DELLA ARGUE January 15, 1903 - March 13, 2000 Della Argue of Cartwright, MB formerly of Mather, MB passed away peacefully at the Tri-Lake Hospital in Killarney, MB on Monday, March 13, 2000. She was in her 98th year. Della was born in Mather and attended elementary school in Mather and then high school in Crystal City. After school she remained at home to continue her homemaking chores and help raise her two sisters and one brother. She was born, raised, and lived in the same house for 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie in 1991; by her parents, Ida Howard in 1917 and Non Howard in 1934; a brother Gordon Howard, and sisters, Alda Howard and Edna Linscheid. She is survived by a daughter Pat (Keith), a son Bob (Debbie) six grandsons, Brendan, Brooke, Colby, and Shea Argue, Warren and David Wall; sisters-in-law, Merle Morrison, Marjorie Howatt (Jack), Nellie Argue, and Marg Argue. Della was always very active in the community and will always be remembered for her interesting stories, her sharp wit, and her generosity to others. Funeral service will be held from Mather United Church in Mather on Friday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Doug Craig officiating. Interment to follow in Mather Cemetery. Everyone attending the service will be considered an honorary pallbearer. Friends if they desire may donate in her memory to the Cartwright and Area Foundation for the Mather United Church. Grahams Funeral Service of Pilot Mound in care of arrangements.
