KURT JAMES ROBSON Suddenly, on March 10, 2000 in Daytona Beach, FL, we sadly announce the passing of Kurt James Robson, aged 23 years. Kurt was born on September 9, 1976 in Winnipeg where he lived until 1983. He then moved with his family to Selkirk where he graduated from the Lord Selkirk Reg.. Comp. High School in 1996. He then returned to Winnipeg where he resided until the time of his passing. Kurt leaves to mourn his parents Florence and Garry (Kathie) twin brother Kris of Winnipeg; sisters, Marie Lynn Courchene of Montreal, Colette (John) Einsinger of Lakeland, Fl., Melanie (Brad) Kowalchuk of Winnipeg, Treena and Marla both of Winnipeg; brother Isaac of Carlilse, Sask.; nephews Glenn, Joshua and Nathan; his paternal grandmother Mary Robson of Selkirk; his maternal grandmother Sarah Courchene of Fort Alexander. He also leaves numerous aunts and uncles, many cousins and many, many friends. Kurt made friends everywhere he went. He touched everyones life and everyones heart. Kurt liked to travel and had been to many places. The life of the party, the class clown, the joker, the guy everybody wanted to be. We lost our son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and most of all our good friend. Wake will be held Tuesday through Thursday starting at sundown at St. Peters Church Hall, Highway 9, 2 minutes north of Selkirk. Ceremonies for funeral will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 17 at St. Peters Church Hall and internment to follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Peters Old Stone Church across the river. Pallbearers will be Danny Scramstead, Louis Poitras, Chris Johnson, Sandro Loschiavo, Brendan Hall, Jeremy Hall. Honorary pallbearers are Wade Courchene, Casey McKay, Ashley Thomas, Tim Linklater, Jeff Opdam, Jeff Kissell. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
