Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE FRANCES WARD (nee BJURLING) With great sadness the family announces the passing of our dear mother on March 13, 2000. She was a kind, lovely woman whose main joy in life was her family. She had a wonderful, wit and wisdom that overcame the many obstacles life presented. In her last years Rose was challenged by stroke damage, but her spirit survived and she remained an example of loving kindness. A generous, caring person, her legacy is the example she set of looking after and loving others. In return, she was loved by all who knew her. Rose was born on May 3, 1913 in Winnipeg. She grew up in the Lobbville District near Helston in the Arden, Manitoba area. She was predeceased by husband David, sister Dorothy Beggs (John) and parents May and Godfrey Bjurling. Left to mourn her passing are her seven children, Vernita Russell (Glen), Joan Cadegan, Inez Berg (Richard), Vida McKenzie, Julene Ward, Valdene "Debby" Brown (Joseph), Edsen Ward; her sister Freda Hare (Frank) 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Many thanks to all the kind staff at Tuxedo Villa. Following cremation and private interment at Brookside Cemetery, a memorial service will be held at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. at Manitoba Ave. on Friday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m., Mr. Al Johannson will officiate.
