He was an avid golfer, curled out of Fort Rouge Curling Club and was a member of the Canadian Legion No. 97 Osbourne Street Branch. Bob worked for 35 years at Riverview Health Centre where he enjoyed the friendship of his many friends and co-workers. Bob was born January 21, 1945 in Winnipeg, He was a quiet man with a generous nature and will greatly be missed by everyone who knew him, including his cat Autumn Rose. He was predeceased by his mother Ellen Ann Caron. He leaves his wife Crystal (nee Hastings) his sons, John, Robert Caron (Linda), Ron, Lenard Caron (Heather) his father Harold Caron; best friend Dorothy; brothers, Rene Caron (Lorene) sister Dorothy Gesell (Bill), Judy Nemeith (Joe), Shannon Mulligan (Chris). It is with great sadness we must say goodbye. A memorial service will be held at Riverview Health Centre on March 17 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. We did not know that morning what sorrow the day would bring, what bitter grief, the shock severe, to part with one we loved so dear. You bid no one a last farewell, no chance to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. If we could have one lifetime wish, one dream that could come true, we would pray to God with all our hearts, for yesterday and you.
