ROBERT LOUIS ANDERSON Peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Stonewall Hospital on March 14, 2000, Robert Anderson, age 55 years of Stonewall. Robert was born December 9, 1944 in Stonewall. He received his education and worked all his life in the Stonewall area. He enjoyed bowling and was active in the Stonewall Legion. Robert was predeceased by his father John and an infant brother David George. Surviving besides his mother Alice are two brothers, Albert of Winnipeg and Leonard of Burnaby, BC, two sisters, Edith (Joe) Hauber of Stonewall and Marie (Herb) Woychuk of Winnipeg. There are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best will officiate, the service will conclude at the Chapel. Friends who so desire may make donations to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
