Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONNA LORRAINE MEADE (nee BEAVIS) 1933 - 2000 Peacefully, at her home Donna passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2000 following a lengthy and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Donna was born in Crystal City, MB on July 24, 1933 beloved daughter of Sam and Jeanette Beavis. Left to cherish the memories are her mother Jeanette Beavis; her brothers, Sam Beavis (Florence) and Chuck Beavis (Elsie) sisters, Mary-Joyce Tessier (Fred), Libby Laframboise. As well as many nieces and nephews who were her greatest joy, and her very many special friends whose friendships she valued. Donna was predeceased by her loving father Sam Beavis and her much loved brother Warren Beavis and her sisters, Elaine Beavis and Lena Turnbull. Donna grew up in Crystal City and attended Huron and Crystal City Schools. She graduated in 1953 with her LPN and returned to Crystal City to practice her chosen profession. She went back to school to further her education and graduated in 1958 from the School of Nursing of the Winnipeg General Hospital as a graduate nurse. Donna was highly praised and respected by her nursing colleagues at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre for all of her various accomplishments and leadership qualities. A special thank you to Donnas caregivers who allowed her the opportunity to remain at home until the end of her life, which was her greatest desire. In accordance with Donnas wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service and celebration of Donnas life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crystal City United Church in Crystal City, MB with Rev. Dr. Dan Hanson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be all her nieces and nephews. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in Donnas memory can be made to the charity of their choice. Grahams Funeral Service in Pilot Mound in care of arrangements.

My aunt Donna helped so many people and she was a head nurse at the hospital near her apartment. And I remember her so well and I love her so much. And I just want to say that I miss you aunt Donna and I will always remember you.
