LOUIS HUBERT MARTENS November 26, 1930 March 16, 2000 Peacefully at St Boniface Hospital with his family at his side, Louis passed away in his sleep on March 16, 2000. In his last months, he was greatly comforted and cared for by his loving wife of 46 years, Fiena. He will also be sadly missed by his three sons, and their spouses, Chris (Barb), Willy (Kim), John (Kara) grandchildren, Ashley, Melissa, Andria and Aaron. Louis immigrated with his family from the Netherlands in 1960, prior to his retirement he was one of Winnipegs best plasterers for 36 years. Some of Louiss past times were his enjoyment for fishing at his favourite spot at Seven Sisters, his hunting in various locations around Manitoba, and playing crib with his three sons. In accordance with Louiss wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 19 at 4:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue.
