ALICE COX Mom passed away peacefully on December 7, 1999 in her 92nd year, surrounded by family, in Burnaby General Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. Predeceased by her husband Thomas John (T.J.) on March 31, 1983. Lovingly remembered by son Brian (Marnie) three grandsons and four great-grandchildren in North Vancouver; and daughter Janice and two granddaughters; one grandson (Vancouver) and two great-grandchildren in Winnipeg. Predeceased by four sisters, Irene, Bertha, Emmy and Lily. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep I am one thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rain When you awaken n the morning hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight I am the soft star that shines at night Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there I am with with you in mind and spirit. A Memorial Service was held on December 16, 1999 at the Boal Chapel of First Memorial in North Vancouver, B.C. A private family service was held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens for her on March 3, 2000.
