EVELYNE FONTAINE (nee TARDIFF) Sadly with regrets, we wish to announce that Evelyne Fontaine age 58 years, of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on March 17, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her father Albert and brother Jerry. Evelyne will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Robert; son Mark; daughter Brenda; close family friend Sandra (Gary) and their daughter Kristin; mother Yvonne; two sisters and one brother. Prayers will be held at St. Bernadettes Roman Catholic Church on Monday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. also at St. Bernadettes. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the church hall. A private family interment will be held in Lasting Memories at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelynes memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of ones choice.
