Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON STUBBS September 4, 1938- March 14, 2000 Suddenly, on March 14, 2000, beloved companion and best friend to Mona, Gordon died at the age of 61 years. Gord was summoned for his last, and greatest ride, with his loved ones, family and friends wishing him a safe journey. Aside from Mona, he leaves to mourn his son Mitchell; daughters, Linda, Erin and Dayna; and brothers, Terry (Gladys), Kenny and Allan (Corky) plus grandchildren, Shannon and Shealynn, and his extended family at the "St.B.", and his many friends. Gords artistic and musical talents (drum, sax, guitar, banjo) infectious laugh and good humor were well known to all. In days gone by, he loved nothing more than riding out and spending time at the cottage in Grand Beach with family and friends. His passion for riding, and in particular his Harley Davidson (the ability to build, repair and/or modify bikes of all makes and size were almost legendary. So now we all say good-bye Gord, we love you.. You will be missed by all. A special thank you to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St., with Rev. Terry Hidichuk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Ride for Sight Fund" or to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. P. COUTU & CO. Geez where do I start?? Hi girls, i'm sure you all remember me i was gordys right hand chick lol....Mona i miss you ...for you guys that don't know i introduced them ....these guys became my family and the last weekend the family owned the 3 cabins in Grand Beach all of us friends that was about 10 bukes and me and my boyfriend had the truck and barbacues and gear....late night fires skinnny dipping at the beach in the middle of the night lol.... And when the law came of course as usual i was in charge .... we had a blast...i moved back east since 2007 still thinking about all the mischiefs we got into....taking off to the states at emerson crashing cause you put your fregging cowboy hat on ..drinking shnapps...love you Miss you ...Debbie Dufoy.. - Posted by: monique lacasse (father figure) on: Apr 26, 2015
