Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL HENRY STOYANOWSKI 1922 - 2000 Sweetly and gently on March 16, 2000, with his family at his side at the Arborg and District Health Centre. Mike was born on January 19, 1922 in the New Valley District west of Arborg, MB. He is predeceased by his precious granddaughter, Sadie; parents, Dan and Regina; brother Kazimir, sister Bernice, and sister-in-law Marrion. He lived his life working and tinkering on the farm never needing to venture any further to find happiness. He loved the kids that rode his school bus and often recants fond memories. His friends flocked around him just because he was there. He would always find the time when they arrived. As a father he gave us wings to fly. No matter how silly our inventions, he would encourage us to try and even get in on the shenanigans. He was best friends with each of us, Mom and kids. Left to mourn are his wife of 41 years, Carol; children, Bev and Bob, Chris and Roger, Dean and Penny, honorary son Fred and Tammy; grandchildren, Brock, Creyton, Dwight, and Reece, Parker and Carter, and Kiah; brothers and sisters, Gladys Stoyanowski, Joe Stoyanowski, Mary Bjornson, Sophia and Eugene Wach, Rose and Bill Gushuliak, Helen Caron, John and Sophia Stanowski; sisters-in-law, Hazel and Mike Gulay, Margaret and Robert Durrant, along with lots of nieces and nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be nephews, Jack and Terry Stanowski, Tom Bjornson, Leonard Gulay, Don and Joey Stoyanowski. Honorary pallbearers are John Lazerenko, Lawrence Bobko, David Todoruk, Glen Koblun, along with other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held in the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church, Arborg, on Tuesday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Otto Christensen will officiate. The service will conclude at the church, with cremation to follow. Friends who so desire may make donations to the Arborg and Districts Health Care Centre or to the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church, Arborg. Were thinking of you How much you mean to us And all the ways youve made Such a wonderful difference in our lives. Thank you for letting us know We could always count on you, That you believed in us, and youd Stand by us no matter what. Thank you for encouraging the dreamer in us, For loving us through each and every phase, And for accepting our ideas when they were different from your own... Thank you for having faith during times When we had to do it on our own, And for being there when things didnt work out. Thank you for all that you were Our wonderful, wise, loving, husband and father. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of the arrangements.
