Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) WAYNE HERMISTON Suddenly, on Tuesday, March 7, 2000, Robert (Bob) passed away in his sleep. He is deeply mourned by his father Norman; his brothers, Darryl, Donald and Jack, as well as his two children, Heidi Jo and Dylan (Kelly-Lee). His former wife and friend Alexis and his many friends and relatives also grieve him. Bob was born in Winnipeg on May 25, 1945. He worked for many of the finer hotels across Western Canada including the Royal Alexander, the Banff Springs and the Chateau Lacombe. Bob worked as a bartender, a head bartender and a bar manager. In the late 1980s, Bob became a long haul trucker for Kleysen Transport. An accident left Bob permanently disabled. The medical advice was for Bob to slow down which he had a hard time doing. In honour of Bobs life, a Wake is being held at the Royal Canadian Legion, West Kildonan Branch, 1748 Main St. on Wednesday, March 22 starting at 7:00 p.m. All who knew Bob are welcome.
