DAVID LOEWEN Peacefully with his family by his side, on March 17, 2000, David Loewen passed into the presence of Jesus at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 85 years. He was born on January 11, 1915 in Russia. Dad was predeceased by his wife Liese, in September 1994; one daughter and one granddaughter in infancy. Left to cherish his memory are his nine children and their families: Werner and Adelheid (Harold and Veronica, Frieder and Almut, Juergen, Ellen and Paul, Wesley), Erna and Gerd Dueck (Carola and Ronald, Nancy and Ferdinand), Irmgard and Ervin Pauls (Ramona and Kevin), Marianne and Henry Rempel (Harvey and Theresa), Gertrud, Irene, Elfriede (and fiance Al Kehler), Art and Anne (Rod, Darryl and Val), Arvid and Ruth (Jodi, Stephanie and Paul). Dad is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral celebration will be held on Thursday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m. at the McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave. Viewing at the church prior to the service. Those wishing to make a donation in Dads memory may do so to the NKMB Church Building Fund. Our family would like to acknowledge with gratitude the sensitive and loving care given by Drs.
