Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS ALEXANDER (ALEX) BROWN Suddenly, on Monday, March 20, 2000, Alex Brown passed away at the Grace Hospital. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doris of 41 years; sons, Dwight (Pauline) and Wes (Bonnie) and grandchildren, Christopher, Peter and Kelsey. Alex was born in Windthorst Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1955 at the age of 17. He met his wife Doris in 1957. They were married in Regina, December 20, 1958. Alex had a 38 year career in the Canadian Armed Forces. He joined as an enlisted man and was commissioned from the ranks and retired as a Major in 1993. He and his wife were avid golfers and active members of the community. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 24, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., R3H 2H8.
