Thirteen years after his passing, I reflect: My uncle Bert helped me get into the business of construction when I was 18 years old. A few good words from his lips to the right people and before you know it, I was working with the welders, pipe-fitters and millwrights. Eventually, I would work with the electricians and choose this path. Five years later, I obtained my red seal certification as a journeyman electrician and later my master electrician contractor's license, just like him. Life changing, for sure. Thanks, Bert... you helped me better my life and for that I am very grateful. Rest peacefully. - Posted by: Charlie (nephew) on: Aug 23, 2013
