Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT MISSYABIT Peacefully on March 23, 2000 at the Lakeshore General Hospital, Robert Missyabit aged 82 years of Lake Manitoba First Nation. Robert was born July 25, 1917 on Lake Manitoba First Nation. He was a fisherman on Lake Manitoba and also worked for various farmers in the area. He also worked for a few years at Winnipeg Cold Storage. He leaves to mourn his wife Vera; son Robert (Beatrice) daughter Eileen (Orville) son Joseph (Freda) grandchildren, Cory, Bryce, Clayton and Kristen, Christopher, Skeeter, Carol, Trudy, Wanda, Annette, Jason, Mary and Arliss. He will be fondly remembered by his special great-grandchildren who called him "Oun-uh", Ainsley, Crystal, Tyler, Toby Caillou, Hillary, Rickie and Leslie also one great-great grandson Jesse. The other great-grandchildren called him "Mishoom", "Choomie" and "Baba". He will also be remembered by his close friends, Fred Paul, Ernest Maytwayashing and Elzear Maytwayashing, also by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Janet Choken. A wake service will be held on Friday, March 24 at his son Joe Missyabits residence on Lake Manitoba First Nation beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. at his sons residence with interment to follow at the Lake Manitoba First Nation Cemetery.
