SHAUN (JACK) ALFRED DAY It is with deep sadness that we announce Shauns sudden passing on Tuesday, March 21, 2000 at his residence at the age of 64 years. Remaining to forever cherish Shauns memory are his daughters, Michelle Burgess (Garry) Cheryl Day and Lori Stetina; five grandchildren; brother Bill and sister-in-law Rosemarie; many nieces, nephews and their families as well as his many friends and co-workers. He was predeceased by his father William in 1984 and his mother Rose in 1998. Shaun was born in Winnipegosis on May 2, 1936. He was employed for many years at Krevco pool and spa and was a respected and valued member of their staff. He was well known for his helpful and generous nature as well as his upbeat and positive attitude, even in the face of adversity. A funeral service celebrating Shauns life will be held on Tuesday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Marys Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Shauns memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
