PAUL (JEAN) DEGAGNE It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Paul Degagne, aged 67 years of Winnipeg and Hadashville, Manitoba. Born on March 15, 1933, Paul was a family man who spent many years as a plumber, tin smith and hotelier. He loved being with family and friends celebrating and enjoying all that life had to offer. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Lucille; his mother-in-law Mrs. A Cote; three sons, Robert (Leslie), Marcel and Jean (Raymonde) four daughters, Pauline (Walter) Wagner, Ginette (Walter) Amerongen, Yvonne (Brian) Kiedyk and Marlene Degagne (Fiance Jim Herd) 21 grandchildren, Jamie, Jacqueline, Craig, Andrea, Charlene, Shane, Cecile, Amber, Steven, Scott, Rheal, Jared, Dana, Christine, Jason, Adrian, Evan, Eric, Ian, Natalie and Alex. He also leaves three brothers, Rene (Jeannette), Adrien (Diana) and Maurice; seven sisters, Rose Nolette, Patricia (Hector) Fabas, Juliette (Maurice) Lambert, Yolande (Gene) Silvaggio, Simone (Walter) Waskul, Jeannette (Marcel) Simard, Evelyne (Brian) Sim; brothers-in-law, Albert Cretain and Pierre Ouimet; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his close friend Earl Breamar. Paul is predeceased by his parents, Jean and Cecile; his father-in-law Alphonse Cote, two sisters, Irene Cretian and Denise Ouimet and by his long time friend Paul Tellier. Prayers will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m., also at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Deacon Gerard Desrosiers presiding. Service to terminate in the chapel. In accordance to Pauls wishes, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice in his name.
