SHARON CLAIRE INGSTRUP (nee BURTON) Lost her lengthy battle with cancer peacefully at the Kimberley Hospital in Kimberley, BC March 22, 2000. She is survived by her husband Gerry of Kimberley,; sons, Steven (Jana Zajicek) of Victoria, Ross (Leah MacInnes) of Winnipeg; sister, Pam Waites (Don) brothers, Danny Burton (Joyce) and Dugie Burton; mother-in-law Ruth Ingtrup and granddaughter Simone Sun Ingstrup. Sherry had a large but close extended family who will miss her very much. Sherry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and also a dedicated care giver, having served as Head Nurse at the Kimberley Hospital for many years and volunteer at the Kimberley Health Unit after her retirement. She loved her grandpets (Quincy, Bear, Addi and Juneau), music, golf, curling, playing nickel slot machines and drinking Dads fine wines. In lieu flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
