ALLAN CARLSON Suddenly on Thursday March 23, 2000, Allan passed away at Grace Hospital at the age of 62 years. Allan will be lovingly remembered by beloved wife Marie, children Donna Kowalski (Kent) and Grant, grandchildren Kiera and Cole, mother Alma. As well as his brothers and sisters Alfrey (Rudy) Leblanc, Alice (Lou) Engel, Glen(Judy), Ricky (Lisa), Debbie (Ken) Burky, Evelyn (Lionel) Chaput, Rose (Gregg) Close, Larry (Rita), Sylvia (Doug), Bev, George, and Sheldon as well as their families. Allan was predeceased by his father Alfred and brother Edward. Allan is a retired employee of Labatts Brewery. He enjoyed friendships made through the Masonic Lodge and Khartum Temple. Allan spent many happy years as a coach and manager with the Winnipeg Hawkeyes Football Club. He also enjoyed spending time at the family cottage. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with visitation one half-hour prior. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Flowers are gratefully declined. It would be Als wish that donations be made in his memory to the Khartum Shrine Patient Transportation Fund, 529 Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg, Man., R3M 0A5.
