DONNA IRENE (MAGNUSSON) CHAMBERLAND (nee JAHNS) Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, Donna passed away with her family at her side, on Saturday March 25, 2000, at the Grace Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Andre; daughter Diane (Neil) Evans; son Grant Magnusson and grandson Tyler Evans. She will be sadly missed by her mother Dorothy Jahns and sisters, Carolyn (Jim) Baber, from Charlotte North Carolina, U.S.A., Ann (Neil) Shiedow from Barrie, Ont., Brenda (Ken) Watson from Teulon, Man., as well as brothers-in-law, Gilles Chamberland, Roger (Michelle) Chamberland and sister-in-law Lorraine (Eugene) Leflour; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Donna was predeceased by her father Charlie in 1999. The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Pat Harris, Oncology Department and the staff at 3N. A special thank you to the staff of 4W at the Grace Hospital as well as the Home Care Department and to Major Donna Davis of the Salvation Army. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Thursday, March 30, at 3:00 p.m. Interment and reception will follow.
