MARY HEPPNER 1917 - 2000 On Saturday, March 25, 2000, Salem Home Inc., Winkler, Mary Heppner (nee Kehler), 82 years, of Winkler, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was predeceased by beloved husband Erdman Heppner in 1971; one son Eddie in infancy; one daughter Esther; two brother and two sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing her three daughters, Katherine and husband Ed Stobbe of Edmonton, Alta., Ruth and husband John Wiebe of Portage and Madeline and husband Lenard Thiessen of Winkler; four sons, John and wife Margaret of California, Tony and wife Shirley of Winnipeg, Tim and wife Barb of Winnipeg, Paul and wife Joann of South Surrey, B.C.; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five sisters and many nieces and nephews. Public viewing will be held on Monday, March 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler, 121 8th St., and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, at the Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church, 120 Pineview Dr., at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Neil Block and Rev. John B. Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow at the Grossweide Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan available at the church.
