NORAH MARIAN MONCRIEFF Peacefully on March 24, 2000, Norah Moncrieff, beloved wife of the late Glen Moncrieff, passed away at the Tuxedo Villa at the age of eighty-six years. Norah was predeceased by her husband Glen January of this year and her sister Dorothy in 1991. She will be loved and remembered by her daughters Nancy (husband Victor) and Susan (partner Doug) granddaughters Jennifer (husband Raymond; great-grandson Marcus) and Wendy (partner Glenn). She is also survived by her brother-in-law Ernest and his wife Nancy. Norah was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 7, 1913 to Beverley and Helen Grant. She met Glen during the mid thirties and married him in Winnipeg on April 24, 1937. Norah took pride in assuming the role of wife and mother and could not have been more devoted to her family. She had a quiet strength about her and an artistic flare which was reflected in her tastefully kept home and garden. Everything Norah did, she did well and will be remembered, by her family, for always putting their needs before her own. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of Norahs life at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29 in St. Peters Anglican Church, 755 Elm St., with the Venerable P. C. Barnett officiating. Friends and family are invited to a reception, following the service, at 709 Oak Street. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the special people of Station 3 at the Tuxedo Villa for their kindness and the quality of care given to Norah during her time there.
