RENE FAUCHER It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, son and brother on Friday, March 24, 2000. He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 31 years, Laura; daughter Tracy (Jeff) Jonasson; son Christopher; grand-children, Jessica, Paige and Brett Jonasson. He will also be greatly missed by his mother Alice; sisters, Simone (Paul) Laramee, Rose-Marie (Leon) Palud, Cecile Lafreniere, Gisele (Andy) Mestdagh, Jocelyne (Marcel) Bonneville, Lucille (Richard) Sylvestre and brother Roland (Kathleen), as well as by all his in-laws, Edgar and Selma Ott, Inga (Noel) Hupe, Harry (Lorna) Ott, Bill (Kathy) Ott, Linda (Lionel) Teichroew, Doreen (Gerry) OHagan, Ben Ott and numerous nieces and nephews. Rene was predeceased by his father Arthur and by his brothers, Gilbert and Roger. Renes greatest pleasure was his family and friends. His greatest gifts were his sharing of love and his sense of humour. He brought a smile to everyone he came in contact with and was himself always smiling and laughing. These assets led to many lifelong friendships. He operated Haute Coiffure Hair Salon and the family would like to take this opportunity to thank all his customers for their patronage. Funeral services for Rene will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St. in St. Boniface on Tuesday, March 28. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Father James Gray will celebrate the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church and cremation will follow. Pallbearers will be, Paul Jobin, Roger Lafreniere, Kevin Mestdagh, Maurice Bonneville, Roger Bonneville and Raymond Sylvestre. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Renes memory to a charity of ones choice. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
