GUY DENIS CARRIERE It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather in the early morning of Monday, March 27, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Leonne; and his children, Rita (Lee Norbeck), Ron (Candace), Raymond (Guylaine), Sister Diane O.S.B., and Joanne; grandchildren, Jocelyne, Natalie, Nicholas, Karsten, Mackenzie and Stephanie. His memory will also be cherished by his brother Lionel (Clara) mother-in-law Pearl Hermanson; many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbours. Guy was predeceased by his parents, Onesime and Jeanne; and by his sister Rita. He was born on August 4, 1932 and raised in St. Pierre, MB. He moved to Winnipeg in 1950 and married Leonne LHeureux in 1954. Guy was a very devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, always willing to lend a helping hand. He worked for several years at Huots Menswear, then became manager of the Caisse Populaire de Saint-Boniface. He then moved on to Bankruptcy Canada for the federal government until his retirement in 1995. Guy was an active member of the community. He thoroughly enjoyed playing music with his brother and friends entertaining at various functions. Spending time and tinkering around at the cottage brought him much joy. Funeral services will be held at the St. Boniface Cathedral on Thursday, March 30. Msgr. Albert Frechette will celebrate the funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Guys cremated remains will take place in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Archibald Street, following the mass. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Guys memory to a charity of ones choice. "We love you Dad. You will be in our hearts forever." LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
