Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENWOOD (LEN) CRONMILLER Peacefully, with his family at his side, Len passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2000 at Meadowood Manor, at the age of 87. Len is survived by his loving wife Wilda; his two daughters, Diana and son-in-law Don Johnston, daughter Donna; by one sister Doreen in Teulon and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and by a sister Verna. Len was born in Winnipeg but was raised and educated in Teulon. He worked with his father in the Garage and Implement business until 1940. He left Teulon then to join the sales staff of Allis Chalmers Rumley Ltd. for one year and then transferred to Auto Electric Service where he was employed as office and credit manager for 33 years until his retirement in 1974. Len was a Past Counsellor of United Commercial Travellers. He was a past member of the St. Vital Municipal Council serving for two terms from 1958 to 1962. Len was an active curler in his younger days. He was Past President and Honorary Life Member of the Grain Exchange Curling Club. His other real interest was music. He had been a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce choir for years. When he joined the Shrine in 1973 he immediately joined the Chanters. He was a past President and Honorary Life Member of Khartum Chanters and Past President of the Mid-West Shrine Chanters Organization. He was a 60 year member of the Windsor Masonic Lodge No. 138 A.F. & A.M. and a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Winnipeg. The familys heartfelt thanks goes to the staff of Meadowood Manor for their compassionate care of Len especially during his last week. His life was made much more pleasant by their kindly thoughtfulness. Funeral service will be held in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway on Wednesday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospital c/o 529 Wellington Crescent, R3M OA5 or the Meadowood Manor Building Fund, 577 St. Annes Road, R2M 5B2 THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
